Description info 2017-07-09 14:52:07 UTC
I'm using one of those extension (macro) in libreoffice which converts
number to text: numbertext-0.9.5.oxt

So for example in a spreadsheet I have formula =MONEYTEXT(E34,"CAD")
and it gives me: Err.504 (Function parameter is not valid, for example,
text instead of a number, or a domain reference instead of cell
reference.)
Which is impossible as it worked in previous version I had: 5.2.3.3-r1

I just upgraded to: libreoffice-5.2.7.2

Hi friend,

thanks for reporting.
You mention an 'upgrade' to 5.2.7.2 - that version is some years old. We have 5.4.0RC1 for example.
However, I tried the extension in a recent daily and it works, if I use a semicolon (;) and not a comma (,) as separator.
So I guess that is the problem in your example.

If not please try a recent version of LibreOffice.

Cheers,
Cor

5.2.7.2 was released on 2017-05-09.

Oh, I really have to apologize here..
Just too much looking at fresh releases, that 5.2.x looks as ages ago to me. Sorry for the confusion.
OTOH, the conclusion remains the same.

Sure, it happens. So, basically we can file that under locale setting confusion? Then standard functions with more than one argument must have failed as well for the bug reporter.
