I experience repeated system crashes and reboot while I'm typing in LibreOffice Writer. In average, I'm able to write ~ 10 lines of text before it occurs, so it's just unusable. First the interface freezes, I'm able to see mouse cursor moving but cannot interact with anything. After 15/30 seconds the system restarts.

I'm running Linux / Fedora 25, XFCE, on a laptop Lenovo T460p
I had the same issue with previous version of LibreOffice (don't remember which one it was), I upgraded to latest release hoping it would be fixed.

I've only experienced this issue while typing in LibreOffice Writer so far. I sometimes use Calc and never had this (by luck?). Most of the time I don't use LibreOffice, and system never crashes.

I've tried to delete the user config directory (~/.config/libreoffice) but crashes still occur (although the first time I did that, I could write for longer than usual before it crashed... not sure if it's meaningful)

It seems to be related to graphic drivers:
journalctl reports at the time of the crash:

I wrote "I'm able to write ~ 10 lines of text before it occurs"
It's not totally accurate, it's kind of random, sometimes I don't have crash after 30 min of writing.

Sure, I will try with the safe mode, but I already tried removing the user directory (~/.config/libreoffice), so I'm not sure if it will change anything.

For information, I've been writing several times, without any crash since I ran in safe mode.

So I'm a bit perplexed since removing the user config dir. did not prevent the crashes. But for now everything looks fine.

I think you can close it. Didn't had new crash since then.
