when doing a global insert (change format, or add page numbers) the insert fails at either 57 or 114 pages.

Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ? I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version.
Greetings, I am currently on 5.2.7.2, and the problem still occurrs. I have my page size set to 5.5.x8.5, and have tried inserting a footer, and adding a page number. The operation fails at page 114. I am going to use your link to get the most current LibreOffice, and will let you know how that goes.
I upgraded to LibreOffice 5.4. The problem persists. Insert fail of Footnote and page number fails at page 114.
Observed additional weirdness. If I attempt to add a page number from page 115 to page 230, it deletes page 115 to page 230. When I attempt to insert a footer from page 115 to page 230, it asks me if I am sure I want to delete the footer. Hope this helps.
