example

We embed LibreOffice into an Eclipse SWT application using noa-libre (https://github.com/LibreOffice/noa-libre). After switching to LO5 from LO3 we encountered a bug with LibreOffice getting the focus from clicking into it.

When a users first action is selecting some text with the mouse after a fresh embedded LO window is created and a document is opened, then the text will be visually marked as selected but subsequent keyboard events (e.g. Ctrl-V or just a letter) do not seem to reach LibreOffice.

We created a MVCE in Form of an Eclipse Projekt with a very stripped down version of noa-libre (see attached zip-File).

If it had not worked with LO3, we had assumed it is a problem with the SWT-AWT-Bridge. Since it did, we felt this might be the right place to report it.

The noa-libre issues do not describe the same problems. But it sounds like the underlying problem might be the same.

Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice
from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ?
I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to
'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version.
