The template selector dialog that appears at the beginning of Impress should be made accessible in writer, calc and draw by having a checkbox in the options dialog, but the checkbox would be disabled by default for these modules.

This would be a great idea if LibO has good templates. So as long as LibO has to good templates within the core installation I suggest to have the template manager off as it is in 6.4
