Description Greg 2017-09-30 20:18:45 UTC
Description:
Hello,

Since I updated to 5.3.6.1 or 5.4.2.2 my documents are very slow to view and modifying.

Also the spellcheck functionality doesn't work any more in Calc:
Impossible to select my language : French

I come back to 5.2.7 and all working fine now.

Anyway, congratulation for your great work. I love LibreOffice

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install 5.3.6.1 or 5.4.2.2
2. Open a calc, writer or draw document
3. scroll the document

Actual Results:
Very slow, about 1 second to scroll an horizontal half screen of document.

Expected Results:
smoothly scrolling

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes, even try to reinstall with clean up profile. Safe mode is also very slow.

Additional Info:
I have tried on 2 Lenovo T420 Intel i5 core laptop. Windows 7 pro. Same result.
LibreOffice 5.2.7.2 is working fine.

Thank you very much for your help !

Just to understand, you close as "resolved" but it still does not work on versions 5.3 and 5.4.
Do we have to wait for version 6.0?

Best regards,

It's probably also fixed in LibO 5.4.3 and 5.3.7. There are only pre-releases available at this point:
