Hello!

I was inserting some emojis from the autocorrect list and, when I copied them and pasted in Firefox's 56 search box, they appeared with a higher quality and used colours.

A few months ago I also noticed in my Webmail that emojis appeared with colours.

Could the developers enhance LO code so that we could get full colour + full quality in them?

Thanks!

LibreOffice deploys color SVG Emoji's in EmojiOneColor-SVGinOT.ttf, but we provide no support for rendering color fonts to the GUI (either SVG or color table defined), and just the normal outline glyph for the emoji codepoints can be used. Either bug 105488 or bug 104403 is required.

The color glyphs you see in web browsers are still rendering Unicode, just the color SVG flavor glyphs for the font.
