Created attachment 137616 [details] Status bar zoom level context menu (German, 5.4.2.2) In German and I assume in many other languages, between number and expression you have to insert a space character. Also the ISO 31-0 standard requires a space. Rule in German: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prozent ISO rule: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_31-0#Expressions In the zoom level area of the statusbar, the space is visible for indication of the current zoom level in percent. But in the context menu, no spaces are in. The spaces are missing between number and expression. Tested with version 5.4.2.2. I haven't found a German version of master build 6.0.0.

Indeed. These messages were unlocalizable before [1], but can now be updated in Pootle. So this bug belongs in Localization. BTW, thanks Sophia for taking a look! [1] https://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/commit/?id=d6e839e9e4ce5470c304dbe2b87dd8b0bb07db59
(In reply to Adolfo Jayme from comment #2) > Indeed. These messages were unlocalizable before [1], but can now be updated > in Pootle. Would it not be possible to link up the text in the statusbar zoom context menu with the ones from the uno commands (.uno:Zoom50Percent, .uno:Zoom75Percent, etc), so translators dont have to translate them? Maxim: Thoughts? > So this bug belongs in Localization. Yes its a Localization component issue related to the statusbar, so statusbar meta bug is correct.
Actually, Jay, it’s related to a context menu, not a status bar item, but I won’t argue anymore.
