Description Walter 2017-11-17 04:36:36 UTC
Created attachment 137820 [details]
Example PDF with multiline text to copy/paste

Steps to reproduce on MacOSX 10.12.6.

1. Create a new file.

2. Select a multiline string (example attachment provided - specifically, for my testing, copy the Chinese company name which is split on to two lines, from ":无限..." through to "...有限公司" on the next line.)

3. Paste in to the file.

4. Notice there is no newline.

5. Save the file.

6. Close the file.

7. Re-open the file.

8. Notice a newline has appeared where it existed in the original PDF document.

I always get a newline upon paste. Tested with Firefox PDF viewer and Okular.

Walter: can you still reproduce the problem with LibreOffice 6.2.x and Acrobat Reader?

Set to NEEDINFO.
Change back to UNCONFIRMED, if the problem persists. Change to RESOLVED WORKSFORME, if the problem went away.
