Description YR 2017-11-30 14:45:18 UTC
Gentlemen! With the increasing number of objects on Draw page over 80-100, working with shapes becomes impossible. I noticed that there is practically no difference between weak and power computer hardware, becouse LibreOffice uses only one of 8 treads provided my system (4-chore Хeon whit HT, 16G RAM) — and, of course, this thread is occupied by 100%.
This means that the LO packages can not work in multi-tasking mode, which today is a nonsense, and will greatly hinder the professional use of applications.
I propose to draw attention to this aspect, since the lack of support for a modern hardware base deprives the prospects of perfectly developing in other aspects software.

Based on best knowledge of mine, multi-threading is only implemented in Calc start from version 6.0 which is still undergoing beta tests.

This should be a feature request. I am setting to NEW.

Probably this is rather a dupe of bug 54722.
