Description: When OpenGL is disabled, most things, like the tool bars (the main one, or the ones for the formula) flicker as I go across them with my mouse. It looks like they have a fit. As soon as I stop moving my mouse, it stops flickering. The same happens when I scroll through things, like the languages. I often change languages on my documents, so I have to scroll through them and just little window where I am scrolling starts flickering. Something similar happens when I want to include or edit a formula in a text document. The formula editor starts up and at first it flickers really hard. Then it stops. As soon as I have OpenGL enabled, this stops. However, it now starts lagging. I move my mouse across the tool bar and the response is late. Actual Results: Intense flickering in case of disabled OpenGL, lagging in case of enabled Expected Results: no flickering, normal operation. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:57.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/57.0
A longstanding, known, issue. The only workaround is using OpenGL. The lag with OpenGL enabled is fixed on master, LibreOffice 6.0b1 and will also be gone with the upcoming release of LibreOffice 5.4.4 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 113714 ***
