Description Peter Eszlari 2017-12-14 19:22:06 UTC
Description:
On the flatpak download page (http://www.libreoffice.org/download/flatpak) one can read the following:

"The LibreOffice Flatpak does not include a Java Runtime Environment (JRE). That means that some LibreOffice functionality that requires a JRE will not work."

Too bad it doesn't explain why. Flathub contains other apps, that either use "org.freedesktop.Sdk.Extension.openjdk9":

https://github.com/flathub/com.jetbrains.PyCharm-Community

Or bundle JRE:

https://github.com/flathub/org.geogebra.GeoGebra

Steps to Reproduce:
1. install LO from flathub
2. try to create a database with Base

Actual Results:
can't use JRE-based components

Expected Results:
one can use all JRE-based componentsone can

Reproducible: Always
