Description: When double-clicking on the "image control" field, only image files are offered in the selection field and not all file formats specified in the description. The setting "Tools / Options / Open / Save Dialogue Boxes" has no influence on this. Therefore, no other (ods) documents can be linked. This only works if the path and filename are inserted directly into the text box. I use: LO Version: 5.4.3.2 (x64); Win 10 Pro Ver. 10.0.15063 Note: With this operating system, all! Actual Results: only image files were offered Expected Results: all files should be offered Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes Additional Info: The LINUX operating System (please see above) has no problems. The setting "Tools / Options / Open / Save Dialogue Boxes" has no influence on this User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/63.0.3239.84 Safari/537.36
Created attachment 138488 [details] Selection box after double-clicking image control flied
Created attachment 138494 [details] Input any file, not only image. Works with Linux/KDE - no filter-value. If using the dialogs of KDE in Linux there is offered to link all files to a database-field, not only images. Works here like the dialog for open a file, which also shows all files. But in that dialog the filter is named with "All Files". There is no possibility in forms to save a path to a table except image-controls. The field for file-selection isn't connected to any data-field through the form. For this field you have to use macros to read the selected url and send it to the table of the database. I will set this one to NEW and enhancement.
