Description: libvclplug_gtk3lo.so is missing in official DEB builds of Libreoffice, e.g. 6.0 beta2. Currently I see a graphics performance regression in 6.0 beta2 compared to 5.4, but cannot test it properly. user@pay2:/opt/libreofficedev6.0/program$ ls | grep -i gtk libqstart_gtklo.so libvclplug_gtklo.so user@pay2:~$ locate libvclplug_gtk /opt/libreofficedev6.0/program/libvclplug_gtklo.so /opt/openoffice4/program/libvclplug_gtk.so /usr/lib/libreoffice/program/libvclplug_gtk3lo.so /usr/lib/libreoffice/program/libvclplug_gtklo.so Steps to Reproduce: . The https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/Bibisect/Linux#dbgutil dbgutil bibisect repo from Miklos is a gkt3 enabled build you might be able to use for bisection. Though it is a dbgutil build so far slower than a normal one so that might cause a problem
The flatpak builds are gtk3 too FWIW https://www.libreoffice.org/download/flatpak/
The bibisect-linux-64-6.0 (and -5.4, -5.3) bibisect repos are also GTK3-enabled.
Hi Mikhail Novosyolov, Is the package still missing in LibreOffice 6.0 RC2? I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version.
There is still no libvclplug_gtk3lo.so
The official TDF builds aren't GTK3-enabled, so ultimately thi isn't a bug.
Gtk2 VCL has graphical artefacts of different sevirity on different machines in reacent Libreoffice versions. Its unusable for some documents
Do you have screenshots of the artifacts and system details? (especially GPU and GPU drivers)
No, because I saw a lot of them and in different situations, they changed from version to version and I did not see a lot of sense in debugging old GTK2 VCL. Of course, I may try to reproduce some of them, but that will not be easy.
