Description Rainer Bielefeld Retired 2017-12-20 18:36:59 UTC
Download of German Version horribly slow, expected time 9hrs. Has nothing to do with my internet access, Master 6.1.0.0 fom http://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/ only needs few seconds.

a) This one might be a DUP of
"Bug 114546 - Since downloading 5.3 it has become very slow to load/refresh",
information there is too rare to decide.

Workaround:
Download from other mirror
https://ftp.halifax.rwth-aachen.de/tdf/libreoffice/stable/5.4.4/win/x86_64/LibreOffice_5.4.4_Win_x64.msi> (de, prio 200)
or
https://mirror.unlogisch.ch/tdf/libreoffice/stable/5.4.4/win/x86_64/LibreOffice_5.4.4_Win_x64.msi> (de, prio 30)

(via <http://download.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/stable/5.4.4/win/x86_64/LibreOffice_5.4.4_Win_x64.msi.mirrorlist>)

b) Both alternative mirrors work fine, ftp.halifax.rwth-aachen.de was the faster one in my tests. Should be used as default for downloads via <https://www.libreoffice.org/download/download/>?

Hi Rainer, good to know you're still poking around LibreOffice.

From here in Texas, USA I see the same download estimate for the tdf mirror held at https://mirror.kumi.systems -- expect this would be a transient bandwidth issue.

And of course you can always pick up valid TDF builds from the project build archive:

Just opened a Redmine instance for this infrastructure question...

Rainer, have another go at this mirror. Checked just now and its back up to speed...
