Description sworddragon2 2017-12-21 04:58:42 UTC
Description:
I have created a new document which contains a few images (PNG's with a size of usually a few hundred KIB's) where every image is covering ~95+% of a site. But as soon as I'm scrolling through the document and hitting an image the performance gets very bad:

- The scrolling process is stuttering.
- LibreOffice needs up to a few seconds to finish the process once the user stops.
- The scrollbar is not able to visually update until the scrolling process completely finishes.
- The CPU usage is very high (~250+%/600% (6 core CPU)) compared to scrolling the same image in other applications (like Eye of GNOME where it is only ~5%/600%).
