Description pm 2018-01-21 20:55:30 UTC
Description:
Hi-copy/pasted a few words from a website, opened LibreOffice, pasted text. Selected text, changed font. After doing this, all pulldown menus are blank. Tried it from different websites, same problem. Also doesn't seem to matter what font you change the text to - same result, blank menu items.
I'm using Xubuntu. Here's the LibreOffice info:
Version: 5.1.6.2
Build ID: 1:5.1.6~rc2-0ubuntu1~xenial2
CPU Threads: 4; OS Version: Linux 4.4; UI Render: default;
Locale: en-CA (en_CA.UTF-8); Calc: group
Thanks, let me know if you need any more info.
Peter

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to any website, select some text, copy it.
2. Open LibreOffice, paste the text into a new document.
3. Select the text, change the font of the text to any other font.

Actual Results:
When pulling down menus, all are blank.

Expected Results:
All menus should be properly populated.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
Tried it from 3 or 4 random websites, doesn't seem to matter much what website you copy text from, or which font you change to after pasting the text into a LibreOffice document - menu items will end up blank.

Could you try a newer version? The 5.1 branch is quite old and outdated and won't be supported any more. https://www.libreoffice.org/download/download/
