In LibreOffice Writer, open Tools -> Options: LibreOffice - Online Update 2. Disable "Check for updates automatically", click OK 3. Hi Peter, This is not a bug. We decided against changing the directory name from "4" to "6", to not make users lose their customizations from older versions.
