Description Peter 2018-01-27 17:54:23 UTC
Description:
LO 6.0RC3 (Build ID: 64a0f66915f38c6217de274f0aa8e15618924765) PCLinuxOS, KF5, 64bit: After modifying settings in Tools -> Options, i.e. disabling "Check for updates automatically" the modification is saved in the file:
 ~/.config/libreoffice/4/user/registrymodifications.xcu
while I think it should be written into:
 ~/.config/libreoffice/6/user/registrymodifications.xcu

Steps to Reproduce:
1. In LibreOffice Writer, open Tools -> Options: LibreOffice - Online Update
2. Disable "Check for updates automatically", click OK
3. Modified settings are written to ~/.config/libreoffice/4/user/registrymodifications.xcu

Actual Results:
Modified settings (all folders and registrymodifications.xcu) are written to:
~/.config/libreoffice/4/user/

Expected Results:
Modified settings (all folders and registrymodifications.xcu) should be written to:
~/.config/libreoffice/6/user/

Reproducible: Always

Why does it say "kde4" above?

Hi Peter,

This is not a bug. We decided against changing the directory name from "4" to "6", to not make users lose their customizations from older versions.

Because it uses the kde4 LO plugin. If you meant to ask why not kde5, it's because LO still don't have a working kde5 plugin.
