It would be nice if the user, or packagers, could exclude files in specified directories from the picklist and crash recovery list. Use case: I use claws-mail on Linux. I often click on an attached document to see it in LibreOffice. Claws-mail unpacks the file into its local directory, then calls LibreOffice to display it. When I am done, claws-mail deletes the file. But the file remains in the pick list. If I could add one or more directories to a list of directories to ignore, such files would never make their way into the pick list. This would also be nice for the crash recovery list. I suggest you add an entry to Tools -> Options -> LibreOffice -> Paths for the purpose. Thank you
Excluding a directory would be a possible solution to the issue regarding deleted files, which is discussed in bug 101302. The proposed solution of a user option sounds kinda cumbersome as the temporary directories should be known as system settings. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 101302 ***
