Description: Open a password protected .ods / .xlsx from Calc starting from a view with a blank spreadsheet opened. Calc uses 100% cpu and fills the memory until the system becomes unresponsive. Steps to Reproduce: 1. start from a view with blank spreadsheet and fcitx-gtk3 active 2. open password protected .ods 3. provide the correct password Actual Results: Calc uses 100% cpu and fills the memory until the system becomes unresponsive. To be certain the reported issue is not related to corruption in the user profile, could you please reset your Libreoffice profile ( https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile ) and re-test? I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the issue is still present
I confirm I can reproduce the bug on a clean new profile.
I have also reported the bug on fcitx side but no progress so far, not sure what is responsible
