Description vijay.pwn 2018-02-28 18:08:31 UTC
Description:
I was attempting to install the 6.0.1 LibreOffice 32-bit version, but it wouldn't transfer from a written CD-RW or open properly. I think the installer file is corrupted, because I was able to install version 5.4.5 when this one did not work.

Steps to Reproduce:
Download LibreOffice 6.0.1 Windows x86_64 installer. Write to CD-RW. Transfer to 32-bit Windows PC. Attempt to either move installer file to PC or direct open from CD-RW.

Actual Results:
Installer hangs up.

Expected Results:
Installer would install files.

Reproducible: Always

What's the OS of the 32-bit Windows? Is it Windows XP or Vista by any chance? (LO 6.0 doesn't support those OSes anymore)

If it's not an unsupported OS, then please check if the file's hash corresponds to what's listed here:
http://download.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/stable/6.0.1/win/x86/LibreOffice_6.0.1_Win_x86.msi.mirrorlist

Checking either MD5, SHA-1 or SHA-256 is fine.

It is Windows 7, but without any Service Pack updates.

Windows 7 SP1 is required I'm afraid:
