Description slavb18 2018-03-18 11:35:09 UTC
LibreOffice can access nss client certificates stored in firefox profile to sign document,
but cannot accces WebDav using https:// protocol using nss client certificate.
When i try to open web dav url https://host/path, it shows error:

Error reading data from the Internet.
Server error message: SSL handshake failed, client certificate was requested: SSL error: sslv3 alert handshake failure.

Does it possible to make use nss client certificates for https authorization?

Thank you for reporting the bug.
Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice
from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ?
I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to
'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version.

Tried with Version: 6.1.3.1 Build ID: 10(Build:1)
from opensuse builds

1. X.509 Signature works (it asks password to access firefox's keystore)
2. https webdav with basic http auth - works
3. https webdav with X.509 auth auth - not working. it even does not ask keystore password like in p.1
Comment 3 slavb18 2018-10-26 09:58:12 UTC
Looks like X509 signature and network layer using different libs.

X509 signature uses nss, network access uses openssl.

it makes sense. Moving to NEW...

Taking a look at https://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/log/?qt=grep&q=x509, perhaps it's better with recent LO version.

Could you give a try with LO 7.2.7 or even brand new 7.3.4 ?
