Description: Bug in versions 6.0.1 & 6.0.2: If you mark a passage or passages to change e.g. the font weight or give some more space between passages, Writer not only applies the changes to the markedd passage(s) but to the whole document as if you'd done 'mark all'. Steps to Reproduce: 1. write some text on a sheet 2. mark a part of it 3. change e.g. font weight or space between passages - bug applies as described Actual Results: changes have been applied to whole document, not only marked passage(s) Expected Results: as said above Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: mark only marked parts not whole document User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/65.0.3325.181 Safari/537.36
Not reproducible for me, if I change settings in the character dialog. Version: 6.1.0.0.alpha0+ (x64) Build ID: 9d75bfcfaef97b247b3b6cd346eb27e02ae7b010 CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0; UI render: GL; TinderBox: Win-x86_64@42, Branch:master, Time: 2018-03-19_06:25:17 Locale: de-DE (de_DE); Calc: CL
Please explain how you mark a part of it, where is 'mark all' option.
This bug is unlikely, so you need to do additional check. You say Reproducible: Always, did you try with different documents? Turn on View-Formatting marks, do you have paragraph marks or line breaks?
So sorry! It's NO BUG - just an individual computer problem probably caused by the mouse driver. I'm working on it. I've to draw back this whole thing. Please forgive me. GM
