Are we sure it's compatible with LO 6.0? (they just indicate "LO > = 5.4" in http://dmaths.org/documentation/doku.php?id=description:dl)
Why not contacting the authors of the extension?
Moreover, I wanted to give it a try but you must pay for the extension.

Thank you Ramon for having sent me 4.6 version of Dmath.
On pc Debian x86-64 with master sources updated today, I could reproduce this.
I saw nothing special on console.
I'll try a bit of gdb.

Stephan: isn't "DmathsAddon%25204.6.oxt" a bit suspect?
I mean, could it be a problem of a path->url conversion? Indeed the initial path is: "DmathsAddon 4.6.oxt"
I tried to dig a bit and found that in 
desktop/source/deployment/manager/dp_manager.cxx, sometimes we use "makeURL", sometimes it's "makeURLAppendSysPathSegment"
Since I think to remember you had fix some nasty bugs about this kind of conversion, thought you might be interested in this one.

from where?  all I find is <https://extensions.libreoffice.org/extensions/dmaths> Dmaths version 3.7

Apparently they have moved to closed source, commercial distribution of binaries: http://dmaths.org/documentation/doku.php?id=description:dlen

No, that should be fine.  The <vnd.sun.star.expand:$UNO_USER_PACKAGES_CACHE/uno_packages/lu24485fhyh.tmp_/DmathsAddon%25204.6.oxt/Sympy> URL's "payload" ("$UNO_USER_PACKAGES_CACHE/uno_packages/lu24485fhyh.tmp_/DmathsAddon%25204.6.oxt/Sympy") is first URL-decoded ("$UNO_USER_PACKAGES_CACHE/uno_packages/lu24485fhyh.tmp_/DmathsAddon%204.6.oxt/Sympy") and then macro-expanded, leading to a URL <file:///.../uno_packages/lu24485fhyh.tmp_/DmathsAddon%204.6.oxt/Sympy>.

If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so:
1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from http://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/

2. Test your bug
3. Leave a comment with your results.
4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo';
4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword
