Move the New button in the drop-down menu to the same location as the Open button

Sure its reasonable to place with the Open--Save--Undo--Redo, but rather than moving it, would just copy the "New" split button there...

Otherwise, do not change to the Cogwheel menu (or "Hamburger" in other icon sets).

I didn't understand what you meant, sorry...

I just wanted to point out, that there should be a New file button visible instead of hidden. The one in the Hamburguer menu fulfills that. I thought that it was a matter of simply moving it from one place to the other but if it's more complicated than that I don't want to overload anyone.

Oh, I understood now. Yeah, I meant to move that split New button to the Open--Save--Undo--Redo. :P
