Description Steffen Andersen 2018-04-27 15:12:48 UTC
Description:
When I choose to download the latest version of libreoffice and offline help to a PC in Thailand, the libreoffice download home page selects to download from a mirror site in Vietnam (mirror.vinahost.vn). It goes very, very slow and usually fails (probably time out).

If I manually select to download from a mirror server in .JP (Japan) www.ftp.ne.lp, the download goes very fast and I have never seen it fail.

I use Mozilla Firefox to download.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Sit on PC in Thailand
2. download from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/download/ Very slow and usually fails
3. https://www.libreoffice.org/download/download/ select manually pick a mirror and select japanese mirror server
Doenload is fast.

Actual Results:
download from Vietnam failed.
Download from Japan around 5 minutes for libreoffice.
Downlolad from Japan for offline help around 20 seconds.

Expected Results:
I would expect I could download from the default mirror server

Reproducible: Always

Thank you for getting in touch with us!

Although Bugzilla sometimes feels like the center of the
Universe, there are a few topics that need to be
reported elsewhere. Since the problem is related to infrastructure, the right place to report it is the Document Foundation's Redmine [1].

If you find that is not the best place to report, please look at the BugReport wiki page [2].
