Created attachment 141954 [details] example for bad searching with regular expressions in arabic text 1) Write arabic text: consonant1 sukoon consonant2; consonant1 fatha consonant2; consonant1 shadda fatha consonant2; consonant1 consonant2. دْر ; دَر ; دَّر ; در 2) In Find&replace dialog choose Regular expressions and Find: consonant1 sukoon consonant2 دْر -> it finds, but also find: consonant1 fatha consonant2; consonant1 shadda fatha consonant2; consonant1 consonant2. 3) try to RegExp Find: consonant1 dot consonant2 د.ر -> it must to find: consonant1 sukoon consonant2; consonant1 fatha consonant2; but it finds nothing. Example with arabic text is in the attachment. It seems the checkbox for Regular expressions doesn't activate the RegExp searching for arabic text. Bug is in all versions 6.x (latest now 6.1.0.0.aplha1). In 5.x it was OK. Win7 64bit.
