I can verify that this is an issue.

It doesn't crash LO, but causes one of the threads to max out for periods of time, decreasing responsiveness by several seconds. This shouldn't be happening with just a 75 by 75 table. Even scrolling and switching slides is slow. I believe it may have to do with rendering the table, because upon switching to a different slide, the expected behavior resumes.

Still slow in 6.4+. Worse in OO.
While 75x75 may never be used, it's the same number in MSO, so to reduce is not a solution.

You forgot about opportunity to have huge sheets in Draw, for example A0 format, where can be a huge table with many rows/columns

Anyway I still see the problem in

Version: 7.4.0.0.alpha0+ (x64) / LibreOffice Community

Yep, I see the same issue as:

(In reply to Thomas Woltjer from comment #1)

Took about:

- 5 seconds for the 75x75 table to insert.
- ~15 seconds of huge CPU usage if you clicked in the table and tried to type something.
   - After that, trying to click/type in other cells took ~5-15 seconds each.

- - -

This was tested in:

Version: 24.2.0.3 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: da48488a73ddd66ea24cf16bbc4f7b9c08e9bea1

bug still exists in

Version: 24.2.1.1 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 359ef544e625d2ffbfced462ab37bd593ca85fa7
CPU threads: 12; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19045; UI render: Skia/Vulkan; VCL: win
Locale: en-US (en_US); UI: it-IT
Calc: CL threaded

When creating a table 75x75 impress becomes very unresponsive (many seconds for a response), CPU usage of LibreOffice jumps up to about 10% and electricity consumption to "very high". Changing slide responsivness and CPU usage comes back to normal.
