Description: Windows 10 (v.1803) 64-bit clean re-install Print command brings up dialogue box where printers are recognised, including HP OfficeJet Pro 8100 and OfficeJet 6500. Clicking on OK brings up the graphic as if the document is being sent to the printer, and the printer icon is shown in the taskbar. But no print for either printer. Saving the document as a PDF and printing from the PDF reader works fine. I have LibreOffice version 6.0.3 on another Windows 10 (v.1803) 64-bit computer connected to the same printers. No problems printing from that PC or that version of LibreOffice. Seems to be a 6.0.4.2 problem Steps to Reproduce: 1.Create document 2.Print command 3.Choose printer 4. Click OK Actual Results: Nothing Expected Results: 1 A$ piece of printed A4 paper from the printer Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes Additional Info: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:56.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/56.0
Ok, I have resolved this. It's a Windows 10 v1803 issue that, for me at least, only affected LibreOffice. Uninstall the printer(s) and reinstall using the manufacturer's own drivers. HP in my case, and for for both printers it meant using Widows 7 drivers. The new clean installation update of Windows 10 (version 1803) installs attached printers automatically, but not completely so it seems. They were recognised in Device Manager and "Devices and Printers" and could be printed to from other programs like FoxIt PDF Reader. And I could do test prints from the settings dialog boxes. They were also recognised in LibreOffice but couldn't be printed to.
Thanks for the information. Closing as RESOLVED NOTOURBUG then...
