Description: When trying to save a draw document containing just a curve I got the following error message: "Error saving the document <name>: Write Error. The file could not be written." Steps to Reproduce: 1. Select the curve tool and create a straight line (document can still be saved) 2. Click on the line, enable the Points tools (F8), click on one end point of the line 3. Click "Convert to Curve" --> saving the document fails Actual Results: Error message shows up: "Error saving the document <name>: Write Error. The file could not be written." Expected Results: Document should be saved. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes Additional Info: OS is Debian testing. I could reproduce this bug with 6.0.5.1 rc as well as 6.1.0.0.beta2 from the Debian repository and 5.4.7.2 from libreoffice.org.
I have no problem saving the document. I use version 6.2 on Windows 10.
Created attachment 143054 [details] Test file. Contains the straight line before turning it into a curve. I tested this on three Linux machines now. They all show the same behaviour.
I was able to save with no problem on Windows 8.1, on the following: Version: 6.0.5.2 (x64) Build ID: 54c8cbb85f300ac59db32fe8a675ff7683cd5a16 CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 6.3; UI render: GL; Locale: en-US (en_US); Calc: CL
Works fine here, tried also with gen VCL backend. Three different machines sounds weird when none of us can repro. So you really tested with a fresh user profile or Safe mode? https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile Same result with an appimage? https://libreoffice.soluzioniopen.com/ Arch Linux 64-bit Version: 6.2.0.0.alpha0+ Build ID: bd394492c165d27c96a44495d9ca694a242acb8f CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 4.17; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3; Locale: fi-FI (fi_FI.UTF-8); Calc: group threaded Built on July 11th 2018 Arch Linux 64-bit Version: 6.0.5.2 Build ID: 6.0.5-1 CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 4.17; UI render: default; VCL: kde4; Locale: fi-FI (fi_FI.UTF-8); Calc: group
So, I did another fresh Debian testing install with version 6.1.2.1 and the problem still persists. Resetting the user profile makes no difference. I also tried the appimage from the provided link (also version 6.1.2.1) with the same result. However, if I create and save a curve in Ubuntu (which works) I can edit and save the document in Debian as long as I don't add a new curve.
Version 6.1.3 is still affected. Debian 64 bit Version: 6.1.3.1 Build-ID: 1:6.1.3~rc1-1 CPU-Threads: 4; BS: Linux 4.18; UI-Render: Standard; VCL: gtk3; Locale: de-DE (de_DE.UTF-8); Calc: group threaded
version 6.3.0.0alpha result in same problem(cannot saving file)\ however I didn't get message like "Error saving the document <name>: Write Error. The file could not be written." Version: 6.3.0.0.alpha0+ (x64) Build ID: 0f25a3c36f27fd51453b9a9115f236b83c143684 CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 10.0; UI render: GL; VCL: win; TinderBox: Win-x86_64@42, Branch:master, Time: 2018-11-27_20:06:55 Locale: zh-TW (zh_TW); UI-Language: en-US Calc: threaded

I can not confirm with Version: 6.3.0.0.alpha0+ Build ID: 993913469e74e9db9743004bbe36aa412411671c CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 4.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3;
Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ? I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version.
Can't reproduce in ; Version: 6.3.0.0.alpha0+ Build ID: 413461e3cf3a4b32a17419f67f879a8975c43987 Threads CPU : 4; OS : Linux 4.15; UI Render : par défaut; VCL: gtk3; Locale : fr-FR (fr_FR.UTF-8); Langue IHM : fr-FR
I can still reproduce the bug with the version that is shipped currently with Debian testing: Version: 6.1.5.2 Build-ID: 1:6.1.5-3 CPU-Threads: 12; BS: Linux 4.19; UI-Render: Standard; VCL: gtk3; However, with Version: 6.2.3.2 Build-ID: aecc05fe267cc68dde00352a451aa867b3b546ac CPU-Threads: 12; BS: Linux 4.19; UI-Render: Standard; VCL: gtk3; from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ the problem is solved.
Thanks for retesting with the latest version. Setting to RESOLVED WORKSFORME as the commit fixing this issue hasn't been identified.
