Formatting toolbars Dutch version Writer 5.4.7.2 and 6.0.5.2

In Writer, the Dutch version 5.4.7.2, there is the possibility to edit a chart in edit mode. A (new) Formatting toolbar opens in edit mode. In this toolbar, 5 icons have the same image (see the arrows in Figure 1).

If the Formatting toolbar is adjusted and the visible buttons option is selected, these icons appear to be the same (see the arrows in Figure 2).

In Writer, the Dutch version 6.0.5.2, the above problem seems to be resolved (see Figure 3). But if Visible buttons are also selected on this toolbar, it appears that 5 icons are the same again (see the arrows in figure 4).

All these icons open another operation and may not be the same. Request to adjust these icons in Dutch version 5.4.7.2 and 6.0.5.2 (and possibly in other versions).

Cor: thought you might be interested in this one since it concerns Dutch UI.
Comment 2 Buovjaga 2018-07-13 15:28:52 UTC
Telesto: we have a Dutch emergency here.
Comment 3 Cor Nouws 2018-07-13 21:22:26 UTC
having two private emergencies here ;)
However, still apologies for being late

For Icons Tango only, Dutch ánd English (so not a local problem)
confirming what Henk reports in
 Versie: 6.1.0.1
 Build ID: 378e26bd4f22a135cef5fa17afd5d4171d8da21a
 CPU-threads: 4; Besturingssysteem: Linux 4.15; UI-render: standaard; VCL: gtk2;
 Locale: nl-NL (nl_NL.UTF-8); Calc: group threaded

and in
 Versie: 5.4.6.2
 Build ID: 4014ce260a04f1026ba855d3b8d91541c224eab8
 CPU-threads: 4; Besturingssysteem:Linux 4.15; UI-render: standaard; VCL: gtk2;
 Locale: nl-NL (nl_NL.UTF-8); Calc: group

However, Henk, since 5.7 is the last one in the series, I would suggest to leave it there as is, and only try to fix against 6.0 and 6.1 and master.
Hope you can agree with that :)

thanks for reporting!
Cor

Comment 5 Julien Nabet 2018-07-23 12:43:49 UTC
Certainly I'm missing something but can't reproduce this.

Could someone a quick step by step process to reproduce this from scratch?
Comment 6 andreas_k 2018-07-23 12:52:23 UTC
I can reproduce this bug

writer new file
extras -> options -> view -> icon theme: tango
insert -> chart

In Colibre, Elementary, Breeze, Karasa Jaga it work well. In Tango it's always the same icon. As Tango is unmaintained and will be replaced by Elementary, ... Maybe I can fix the issue, but I'm not sure.

I am pronouncing this WONTFIX. I will put the Tango theme out of its misery soon; it’s just not worth it to try to update Tango now that GNOME 3.32 has new icon guidelines (which look suspiciously similar to KDE Plasma).

I agree with you.
@Henk: sorry; you have to move over to a new icon set :)
