Description Paul Wolstenholme 2018-07-08 04:34:13 UTC
Description:
Downloading torrent file LibreOffice_6.0.5_Win_x86_helppack_en-GB.msi.torrent and running it results in the creation of file LibreOffice_6.0.5_Win_x86.msi instead of file LibreOffice_6.0.5_Win_x86_helppack_en-GB.msi. This results in conflict with LibreOffice_6.0.5_Win_x86_helppack_en-GB.msi.torrent which tries to create the same file but with different content.
Judging by errors received, there may be 1 or more servers offering the help file content to users trying to download the main application. I expect this to be a side-effect of the error above.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.https://www.libreoffice.org/download/download/?type=win-x86&version=6.0.5&lang=en-GB
2.In the 6.0.5 option, click 'Torrent' after 'Help for offline use: English (GB)'
3. Open the file (LibreOffice_6.0.5_Win_x86_helppack_en-GB.msi.torrent) using Bittorrent(bittornado) or similar.

Actual Results:
Bittorrent(bittornado) forces you to save the downloaded file as LibreOffice_6.0.5_Win_x86.msi.

Expected Results:
Bittorrent(bittornado) should save the downloaded file as LibreOffice_6.0.5_Win_x86_helppack_en-GB.msi

Reproducible: Didn't try

Sorry - it seems I must have had finger trouble. I wish to withdraw this report.

It seems I mis-handled the 'Save as' dialogue in one of the 2 instances of Bittorrent(bittornado) that I had open. Having incorrectly directed 2 .torrent downloads to the same .msi file, the .torrent file repeatedly wanted to re-link to the wrong .msi file name no matter how often Bittorrent(bittornado) is reloaded or the target files are deleted or moved. A fresh download of the .torrent file that had the wrong 'save as' destination filename was required to get the correct default destination filename.
