Description:
The main menu flickering and blinking a lot on old computers (dual core in my case). See the video in attachment.
 
On fastest (newer) computer (i5, i7, ..) this problem is hidden by the speed (i guess).

- LibreOffice 6.0.5 (probably since older versions)
- Ubuntu 16.04 LTS

Version: 6.0.5.2
Build ID: 1:6.0.5~rc2-0ubuntu0.16.04.1~lo1
Threads CPU : 2; OS : Linux 4.13; UI Render : par défaut; VCL: gtk2;
Locale : fr-CH (fr_CH.UTF-8); Calc: group 



Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Libreoffice (calc by example)
2. Just navigate in the main menu and clicks

Actual Results:
Menu flickering / Blinking

Expected Results:
No flickering and blinking with clear menu


Reproducible: Always


User Profile Reset: Yes

Please try with the GTK3 backend: you have to install libreoffice-gtk3 package first.
Another try: activate or deactivate OpenGL. in the advanced configuration, search opengl.

Status set to NEEDINFO, please set it back to UNCONFIRMED once requested
informations are provided.

GTK3 backend change nothing and OpenGL is disable.

Also when i click on Tools -> Options... The options windows appear 5 seconds later..

I'd think it's more related to bad GPU drivers than CPU.

Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice
from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ?

OTOH, do you reproduce this behaviour with any other software ?

I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to
'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version.
