Description Al Russell 2018-07-21 20:04:35 UTC
Description:
Version: 6.0.5.2
Target host: Scientific Linux 6.10

I am replacing the default distribution for SL6 with the latest from LO. Previous relesases have worked with out problems. (Previous version used was 6.0.4.2)

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Follow default install script
2. Executable installs without problem
3. The help package (LibreOffice_6.0.5_Linux_x86-64_rpm_helppack_en-GB.tar.gz) unpacks without complaint.

Actual Results:
[russell@elm LibreOffice]$ cd LibreOffice_6.0.5.2_Linux_x86-64_rpm_helppack_en-GB/RPMS
[russell@elm RPMS]$ sudo yum install *.rpm

Hello Al Russell,
Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version 6.0.6 of LibreOffice
from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ?
I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to
'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version.

Al Russell replied by email:

I resolved the issue. Resolution: The download page pointed to the wrong version of the help package.

I am downloading the package for an rpm install on Linux to a US address. If you check the download page you will see that, at least on my system. it points to https://ftp.wayne.edu/tdf/libreoffice/stable/6.0.6/rpm/x86_64/LibreOffice_6.0.6_Linux_x86-64_rpm_helppack_en-GB.tar.gz

Notice the spec "en-GB", which is incorrect for a US install. It should read simply "en". When I manually selected the correct version all was fine.

I just checked. The download page still points to the incorrect version.
