Description: The ability to reduce the window width of calc to less than 5 columns does disappear and reappear when the kde4 integration seems to get out of step. I can no longer reduce the window to less than 5 columns (see attached screenshot) I have libreoffice-qt5 installed as this was suggested as the new integration way. As a test, it was also suggested i install libreoffice-gtk3 (it was already) and run "SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gtk3 oocalc" - the problem still exists Libreoffice: Version: 6.1.0.2 - Build ID: 10(Build:2) CPU threads: 2; OS: Linux 4.17; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3_kde5; Locale: en-GB (en_GB.UTF-8); Calc: group threaded opensuse:tumbleweed:20180804: Qt: 5.11.1 KDE Frameworks: 5.48.0 - KDE Plasma: 5.13.4 - kwin 5.13.4 - Kernel: 4.17.12-1-default - xf86-video-nouveau: 1.0.15 Steps to Reproduce: 1. But thanks for checking
no repro with kde4 Version: 6.1.0.2 Build ID: b3972dcf1284967612d5ee04fea9d15bcf0cc106 CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 4.14; UI render: default; VCL: kde4; Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); Calc: group threaded
Repro with gtk3_kde5 and gtk3. Maybe it is intentional, though? Arch Linux 64-bit Version: 6.2.0.0.alpha0+ Build ID: 1c59d021b3dd27c8c0255312bd0d53ad25965bab CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 4.18; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3_kde5; Locale: fi-FI (fi_FI.UTF-8); Calc: threaded Built on September 1st 2018
Dear Ian Powell, To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year. There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present. If you have time, please do the following: Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/ If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. Please DO NOT Update the version field Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker) Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not appropriate in this case) If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so: 1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from http://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/ 2. Test your bug 3. Leave a comment with your results. 4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo'; 4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat: https://kiwiirc.com/nextclient/irc.freenode.net/#libreoffice-qa Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone! Warm Regards, QA Team MassPing-UntouchedBug
I cannot reproduce in Linux Mint (gtk3) with installed or AppImages LO 6.1, 6.2 nor 6.4+.
Please retest with master or current LO. Although Buovjaga confirmed for GTK3, I didn't, so I add just KDE to title.
Not seeing this anymore with gtk3 or kf5 Arch Linux 64-bit Version: 7.1.0.0.alpha0+ Build ID: f08ddf3d3df0ef12fef36e96ffe6f5b9a7fda9e3 CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.8; UI render: default; VCL: kf5 Locale: fi-FI (fi_FI.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded Built on 21 September 2020
