Please add where you insert the table: Writer, Impress or Draw, and correct the "Component" field. "Formula Editor" is surely wrong.

Do you have used one of the predefined table styles?

Into which file format do you have saved?

I cannot reproduce the problem.

It was in Writer, i just used a standard table layot. When i use fill color on one of the rows it shows, however when i close and reopen file - its gone. I saved it to .docx format. I have upgraded program to 6.1.0.5 and still experience this issue.

That's it. The .docx format is not able to carry the information "color the row". The .docx format can only handle color of a cell or color for the entire table.

Solution for you: Select the row and then in the background color tab do not select the item "row" but select the item "cell".
Or use the .odt format.

For color of entire table use bug 116436.
