Properties > Position and Size section

It would be nice if we could right-click a section title to expand that section and collapse all other sections, e.g. in the Properties sidebar, right-clicking on "Position and Size" would expand it while automatically collapsing all the other sections.

P.S. This example is from Draw, but the same would apply to similar widgets in any LibreOffice application.

I like the idea - +1

The Content Panels are now stateful--recorded into user profile.

We can already toggle visible or hidden *each* Content Panel with its toggle arrow.

Not sure the UX of a context menu collapse of all Content Panels would be well received as it would blow away any prior panel state recorded to profile.

User beware, but it seems a bit heavy handed for what can be achieved more precisely to work flow with just a couple of mouse clicks to toggle the visibility of each panel on a deck.

Stuart
1. The reason for this request is that collapsing and expanding individual sections is tedious and some people value being able to quickly see the relevant section.
2. This request takes nothing away from those users who wish to spend their time being "precise" and collapsing and expanding individual sections through many clicks and worrying about what state will be saved.

I'm against such a special and hidden feature. If closing all section is needed we could add a button to the title bar. But the better solution is to make the sidebar not tedious by a better organization.

Input from UX has been given (Cor: +1, Stuart -1, Heiko -1 with the suggestion to have a button to collapse all sections). But I'll keep the ticket open in case more interest is shown on such a special solution.

the expand collapse feature in the sidebar is now a bit hidden have an additional expand everything expact, ... would be very complicated.

-1 from me. And I would close the report.
