Description Martin Rinehart 2018-08-15 11:00:16 UTC
Description:
If I format page 2 headers correctly, pages 2, 6, 10, ... are fine.

But pages 4, 8, 12, are not correct

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Get a multi-page document.
2. Format left pages, page number on left, title on right.
3. Compare page two to page four.

Actual Results:
page two header is also the page six header, page ten header, etc.

headers, pages 4, 8, 12 match each other, but not page 2, 6, 10.

Expected Results:
Pages two and four are different.
Pages two, six, ten, ... are all the same.
Pages four, eight, twelve ... are all the same, but unlike two, six, ...

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
My understanding is that setting the header format for a given page style is set once for all pages of that style.

I am writing books, with standard formats for chapter first page, left pages and right pages. Chapter first starts mid-page, page number bottom center. Left and right start with page numbers on outside in header, chapter and title names on inside in headers.

Please attach such document.

Please keep in mind, that this setting is designed for pages styles, which are applied to odd and even pages as well. If you use "only right" and "only left", then the different headers are already given by the styles themselves.
