Description: I write for 6x9 trade paperback format. I write with four-abreast pages on a 24" monitor, mostly 11pt type. I make four pages fit by cutting the left and right margins to 0.1 inches, zoomed to 4-column, book mode. Really nice, BTW. I use chapter first, left and right pages, TOC first, left and right pages and a handful of other page styles for front and back matter. With inheritance it would be a simple matter of changing 'default page' from it's 4.2" working width to its finished 6" width. Without inheritance I have to individually style my ten or so pages styles. Actual Results: I'll be able to switch easily from draft format to finished format (and back again). Expected Results: Happy camper author! Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Looking for'd to getting a 4K monitor and viewing three rows of 8 pages each. For me that's a full chapter at a time!
Such inheritance for page styles is currently not supported by the file format. LibreOffice could introduce such feature in its own namespace. The request already exists, see bug 41316. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 41316 ***
