Description:
When I click "Discard"The drawing appears.

I re-emphasise Problem only present when I have loaded calc. 

Actual Results:
Open a drawing without calc installed-Every thing OK.
Open a drawing with calc installed results as described above
NB I am using Ubuntu 18.04.1

Expected Results:
Results as above


Reproducible: Always

It sounds like a problem with Ubuntu and not upstream LibreOffice. Please file a report in their system: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice
