I would like to use one specific graphic as a background for headers throughout a document - around 50 times. It would be nice if all these occurences would refer to just one single object, reducing memory usage.

So, what is the issue with LibreOffice you are reporting here?
Comment 2 Martin Tlustos 2018-08-29 05:49:55 UTC
I was thinking that LO would embedd the same graphic several times, because the document I am working with was so big (7MB). I just found out that it wasn't the problem with the multiple copies of this one graphic, but another embedded .emf graphic that had 4.5 MB by itself.

Marking as invalid.
