Description: Not only as noted int the summary above, following the attempt to create or delete rows in Calc, menus are diminished to a single bar with an up and down arrow, taking no meaningful action, except in one case in which on a side monitor, a copy of the main Calc window appeared. Steps to Reproduce: 1.Create a spread sheet including with taller-than default rows andsome standard shapes superimposed on the rows. 2. Drag the left mouse button over the left margin to highlight two rows as an indicator of the number of rows to be inserted or deleted, either above or below. 3.Right click in the margin to bring up the insertion/deletion option. You will notice that the highlighted margin becomes dived into two blue halves (left and right), with apparently no distinctive function Actual Results: 1. No rows are either inserted or deleted. 2. The context menu and all title bar menus become a simple bar with up/down arrows which perform nothing. 3. The application eventually crashes, going into its whitened mode, whereby the OS reports that it has crashed and offers to shut it down, and it does. Expected Results: Obviously, I want to insert or delete rows, but can't. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: (As above.)

Created attachment 144763 [details] The Libre Calc file with which I found I couldn't insert rows is attached. All relevant comments are as described in the original bug report.
This is not a bug, just a visual effect. The images are anchored to the page, so they don't change their position when new columns/rows are inserted. Change the images' anchor to 'to cell' and you will see the change their position. You can also see rows are inserted if you type some text to the above and below row before inserting it.
