We are using CODE 3.3.1 with ownCloud 9.1. If we copy formatted text to the clipboard (from a Google Sheet document or from a webpage, for example), we can't then paste it into a LOO Calc document. ctrl + V does nothing and the "Paste" menu item is disabled. However, it works when the clipboard only contains plain text.
I can confirm this regression with CODE 3.3.1 and Nextcloud 13.0.1: It is no longer possible to paste formatted text by selecting a cell and pressing Ctrl-V. Pasting unformatted text still works fine this way. Pasting of formatted text is still possible in the top text entry box of the sheet after activating a cell. Interestingly, this issue does not occur with CODE 3.2.0 and Nextcloud 13.0.1.
Does it bring up the Text Import dialog in 3.2.0 for you? That's what it does for me in a local build of 3.2.0. Seems like this is the commit causing the paste to not work at all: https://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/online/commit/?id=4e4d9719d4bb3144d5385be7be104eefa3390f11 author Jan Holesovsky <kendy@collabora.com> 2018-04-25 16:06:08 +0200 committer Jan Holesovsky <kendy@collabora.com> 2018-05-18 15:16:40 +0200 Paste: Share the code with Drop, to allow rich content pasting. Same commit in Collabora Online 3.x: https://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/online/commit/?h=distro/collabora/collabora-online-3&id=bba9e5bbfca29b5e71fa2bb258cb7cfb2bb76a99
No, I do not see a Text Import dialog in 3.2.0. I can just paste text from my email client into a selected cell.
Fixed now, CODE 3.4 will show the Text Import dialog, sorry for the problems! https://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/online/commit/?id=250ffe6f8332ced16382a8e796741ffd9946c2db
