I downloaded and printed a document containing both Arabic and Roman characters in June 2018, using Libre office 5. Now, having downloaded Libre office 6, when I open this document I find two faults. 1. In lines containing "mixed" alphabetic characters, the contents do not appear in their correct sequence. 2. The Arabic diacritics are missing.

Bob sent me a private email with the previous attachments. He said the source of the text is https://blogs.transparent.com/arabic/the-arabic-morphological-measure/ He said: "Please note, first line ِالمِيْزَان الصَّرْكِي has lost its diacritics and penultimate two lines of first paragraph print "ع, ف and ل (فَعَلَ" are printed in the wrong sequence (as they are, also, in this email) when using v6." Bob: I assume you are using a Windows computer like most LibreOffice users. If you have a "Microsoft Print to PDF" in your list of printers, can you see, if the diacritics are lost in the resulting PDF? I printed a PDF in Linux and the diacritics were not lost. On Windows, the example document had squares in place of the Arabic glyphs due to failed font substitution. I copied the text from the website, printed to PDF and it looked fine. My printer is currently not working, so I cannot try with a physical printout.
