Description 13hw 2018-10-04 23:22:30 UTC
Description:
LibreOffice removes NTFS encryption (EFS) on a file when saving.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Windows 8.1 Professional (only Professional or Enterprise editions of Windows have NTFS encryption)
2. Save a new OpenDocument
3. Encrypt the document file in Windows. Go to Properties -> Advanced -> "Encrypt contents to secure data". Explorer may show the filename in green when encrypted.
4. Open and edit the document and save.

Actual Results:
Saving changes removes the filesystem encryption on the document file.

Expected Results:
Saving changes does not affect the Windows filesystem properties (unless edited) and metadata, keeps NTFS encryption on the file.

Reproducible: Always

I suspect this to be fixed in bug 119238 - could you please test with a daily build from https://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/libreoffice-6-1/ ?
