Description: Before: I could double-click on a special character and it was inserted into the document, saved a lot of time. esp when working without a mouse Now: I have to click the character and then to click 'insert', costs a looot more time, esp. when writing German umlauts. Double clicks just produce 2 characters, the easy times are over... For me double-clicking in the special dialog works in 6.1.2.1 as you described it should.
