Description nospamforaxel-1 2018-10-23 12:42:48 UTC
On my Windows 10 computers the SI-GUI neglects the install directory and installs the LibreOffice Parallel Installation into the root-directory.

What goes wrong?

Which additional information can I supply?

Thanks and best regards

Are you trying to install to a system folder with special permissions? Maybe try saving under My Documents/ Documents or to Desktop to see if the message still occurs?

This may be the case. It's a company laptop where there are some strange limitations. Although the folder I want to install LibreOfficeParallel is within my user directory and I don't see any special restrictions.

I would expect that SI would ask me when it has difficulties to access the foreseen installation directory. But this does not happen. It just install itself into the root-dir.

Trying to install into my Desktop leads to the same result. All directories and files land in root (C:\).
