Created attachment 146082 [details] screen In LO WRITE opening the menu Strumenti->Opzioni->Generale appears a window different from the IT local guide: 1) in the guide there is help about "Dialoghi Apri/Salva" but nothing about is in the options window. (see attachment) 2) about "Stato del documento" in the guide is written "Durante la stampa viene visualizzato …" while in the options window is "Dopo la stampa cambia …":the meaning of the two propositions is substantially different. (see attachment)
Bugzilla reports are in English. Please explain so English readers can understand. Maybe you have issue with Italian help, English seems fine. Please compare.
(In reply to Timur from comment #3) > Bugzilla reports are in English. Please explain so English readers can > understand. > Maybe you have issue with Italian help, English seems fine. Please compare. Well, the report is in English, in the report I report that the local help (IT) is different from the menu (IT), where is the problem? And this even if the local help (EN) was correct.
Putting back to UNCONFIRMED.
Update for LO 6.2.0.3 Look at https://help.libreoffice.org/6.2/it/text/shared/optionen/01010600.html?&DbPAR=SHARED&System=WIN << Generale Specifica le impostazioni generali per LibreOffice. Per accedere a questo comando... Scegliete Strumenti - Opzioni - LibreOffice - Generale. ...... Stato del documento Durante la stampa viene visualizzato lo stato "documento modificato" Specifica se la stampa del documento viene considerata una modifica. Quando questa opzione è selezionata, chiudendo il documento vi verrà chiesto di salvare le modifiche. La data di stampa viene quindi inserita nelle proprietà del documento come modifica. >> ## in IT "durante la stampa" means "while it is printing", the proposition and the whole line is useless, what is necessary is correctly said in the following: "Specifica se la stampa ...."
My franco-luso-hispano reading of italian tells me this is an translation issue. Changing to Localization.
Here's the translation help on Weblate (master branch) : https://weblate.documentfoundation.org/translate/libo_help-master/textsharedoptionen/it/?checksum=3bf13f5087fcb2e2 and on Pootle for 6.3: https://translations.documentfoundation.org/it/libo_help/translate/shared/optionen.po#unit=128225043

Adding Valter Mura and cico to CC per https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Language_Teams, would either of you take a look? Note the original report contains two separate issues.
Hi, I think tat the meaning is clear enough in Italian. This was part of an old translation, in which translation was simply more structured, but I think the meaning is the same. If we consider a literal translation, we could have: "Printing sets "document modified" status" > "La stampa imposta lo stato di "documento modificato"." But "Durante la stampa viene visualizzato lo stato "documento modificato"." is correct, because it is simply stated that "during a printing process, the program changes the status of the document to "modified" (and then it should be saved again). We could simply correct: "Durante la stampa viene impostato ('set') lo stato "documento modificato". IMHO, this could be a suitable correction, I'll wait for other comments/feedback, then I'll change it as indicated and close the bug.
Hi Valter, I probably don't understand the state of the discussion and the question itself is of relative importance, but, given that you wait for comments, here are mine. I write them in IT (so we understand each other better) and translate them for others. IT La diatriba è: qual'è la traduzione corretta? EN The diatribe is: what is the correct translation? Well, in my opinion, to say <During printing the "modified document" status is displayed> as it was originally (see attachment 146082 [details]) is NOT correct, while it was and is correct the diction already then and still present in Tools>Options>General that says <After printing, change the status to "Modified document">. However now in LO 6.4.3.2 it seems to me that the latter is also the translation in the LOWriter Guide (see attachments) and, as said I consider it correct. That's all.

Hello gmarco, Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ? I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version.
Hi, finally I change the sentence. The update will be applied to 7.1 version and next 7.0.x version. I changed the sentence to: "La stampa imposta lo stato "documento modificato" which better reflects the English one. I think the issue could be safely closed.
