for each sw module (sglobal, sweb, sxform, swreport, swriter, swxform) there are menubar, toolbar, popupmenu, statusbar, ...) files availbale. As each module has different features and focus the toolbars, ... popupmenus can be different per module, but sometimes they are the same and it's very difficult to keep the different modules in sync. so my request is to have in swriter the "master" xml and ui files and if an module need an different xml file it will be available in the module subfolders, but if the module use the same file than swriter than there is no copy of this file in the module, the codebase know that the xml file come from the swriter folder instead of the module folder.
Hello Andreas, Should this kind of request be discussed in the LibreOffice dev mailing list instead ? I guess it would be the fastest way to get devs' attention...
