Created attachment 146360 [details] Screenshot of Column information: 2 fields are too small Start to import a table to Base, for example from Calc. 1. Select the content in Calc. 2. Copy the content 3. Paste in the table-folder of Base and follow the wizard. In step "Type formatting" you see inputfields and selectfields. The field for "Field name" and "Filed type" are too small for the content. Only the field for "Max Lines" will follow the width of the dialog. The width of the other fields couldn't be changed. All tested with LO 6.1.3.2 64bit rpm Linux.

(In reply to Alex Thurgood from comment #1) > @Robert : has this problem been there a while ? Oldest version here: LO 5.4.6.2. Buggy behaviour is the same there. I will set the version to this. There has nothing been changed from the earliest version of LO in this wizard. So could be it has been introduced by OOo and nobody recognized this.
I can confirm with 4.1 and Version: 6.2.0.0.alpha1+ Build ID: b0da1ca2d7a426ff13f39b21362fbcd5c0580c24 CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 4.4; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3; Locale: cs-CZ (cs_CZ.UTF-8); Calc: threaded
It seems dbaccess/source/ui/control/FieldDescControl.cxx:780 could be a start but no idea how it works, uncc myself
